About Me
Laura Rivas has more than 15 years of events management
experience and has executed high-profile events
for institutions such as the San Antonio River Walk
(Paseo del Rio) Association and the State of Texas. Her
writing credits include Latino Leaders, the National
Society for Hispanic MBAs, the Holy Cross Institute and
St. Edward’s University Magazine, as well as copy for
marketing collateral and websites. She is currently Assistant
Director for Events Management at the University
of Texas at San Antonio.
